Notes:

I was really craving fruits and veggies today so I made sure I had plenty of them throughout the day. Drank a lot if water today also. Though I had decided I was going to eat whatever for dinner tonight, I was out with my bestie and didn't want to think about it, I naturally made some good choices. No bread, one drink, tons of water. Unfortunately something about what I had made me feel super gross, it was a gut bomb and I felt icky for the rest of the night. Could have been the cheese or the salt/oil that was used on the fries. Not sure, but I was disappointed that my "cheat" wasn't worth it, lol. Oh well.

Food:

Breakfast- 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, coconut water
Lunch- Left my lunch on the bus :(... Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, I didn't have the buns and didn't have most of the slaw, it was pretty liquidy, ugh. Side of cauliflower.
Dinner- 2 beef tacos, 1 ceviche tostada, handful of chips and salsa. 2 margaritas ( tequila, fresh squeezed lime, salt.) one pacifico.

Sleep:7 hours
Notes:

Happy hour with my coworkers tonight (which turned into happy 5 hrs!). I made a conscious choice to just enjoy my evening and not care too much about what I had. It was totally worth it and I was satisfied with what I had. Which is a win in itself, I didn't over eat or drink, I had plenty of water through out the evening and had a really good time 🙂 I'm really craving fresh foods today so salad and fruit will be in the menu!

I felt more energized today than I did yesterday, I felt rested and strong (even though I slept poorly last night). Did some food prep for the rest of the week today, baked some stuff to have on hand; bacon wrapped dates, yams and bacon. I'm now starting to enjoy prepping, finally! Haha.

Food:

Breakfast- 2 scrambled eggs. Handful of raspberries. Coconut water.
Snack- Coffee.
Lunch- Chicken sausage, half an avocado. Banana.
Dinner- one serving of slow cooked chicken (with bacon and herbs).
Snack- Strawberry/banana smoothie with ice.

Sleep:6 hours
Notes:

Maybe a little too much fruit today, something to keep an eye on. I haven't been really posting how much water I am drinking, but besides tea and coconut water, I have about 48 oz of water a day. I try to have two 12 oz cups of water in the morning and two more in the afternoon/evening, when I work out then I have more.

Food:

Snack- half a coconut flour pancake, syrup. Tea.
Brunch- Dim Sum! Chinese broccoli, 4 shrimp dumplings, half of shrimp rice noodle. Tea.
Snack- 5 dates
Dinner- leftover burger from last night, wrapped in lettuce. Coconut water.
Late night- chicken sausage and green beans. Tea.

Sleep:8 hours
Notes:

I tried my best at picking the wrapping from the shrimp dishes but I did indulge with the dumplings. Not many choices at dim sum so I didn't eat much, that's probably why I was starving later on so I had another meal. I think I'm entering that tired phase of doing paleo. Over all it was a good weekend though, we are getting the hang of this!
